Munich Tourism
We’ve been telling stories from our favourite city on the Simply Munich web platform since 2017 – in a depth of content and visual quality that’s otherwise only seen in printed magazines.
Right in the midst of it all
For Simply Munich we rely on innovative formats and narrative styles. Stories that can only be discovered if you’re genuinely curious when roaming round the city. And that’s why they read differently from the traditional communication on tourism topics: What’s it like to spend a night in a museum? Or learn to play the tuba? Or spend a whole day in swimming trunks in the city? Or train with a dancer from the Bavarian State Ballet?
We combine precise research with narrative pleasure – and a visual standard that’s otherwise only seen in high-quality print magazines. This is also reflected in the relevant numbers: Our readers stay much longer on the site and are less likely to leave. Proof that good stories find their way online – without expensive ad campaigns.

Turning digital stories into high-quality print formats
Besides the digital platform, we’ve also been responsible for Munich Tourism’s print formats since 2023. We’ve developed brochures and leaflets and redesigned and implemented the official city guide, while also creating a corporate identity guide for Munich.
Our most recent coup was Viertelliebe, a coffee table book that collected the best Munich stories from recent years and brought them to life in a high-quality volume.
