Not just a book
A clear design language, high functionality, the best workmanship – the hallmarks of Porsche Design since 1972. The company founded by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche has repeatedly written design history over the past five decades, e.g. with the first all-black watch and sunglasses complete with interchangeable lenses.
To mark the 50th anniversary, we didn’t just want to create an anthology about the company’s history, but another design icon alongside Porsche Design. So in collaboration with the art directors Alexis Zurflüh and Ludwig Haslberger we created a very special coffee table book as a tribute to Porsche Design, which for five decades has shown how function becomes form – and form becomes culture. The greatest praise is that the anniversary book itself is now considered a collector’s item.
