Long live confrontation
Democracy thrives on exchange – and on people listening to each other, even if they disagree. For the Generation Germany democracy festival organized by Children for a better World e.V., we developed animated films and info clips that summarized polarizing topics in pro and con arguments. It often got loud afterwards – but always remained fair.
The videos by art director Kristian Kutschera formed the basis for discussions at the three-day event, which was also attended by several leaders of the parties represented in the Bundestag. A format that shows how digital content can facilitate real encounters.
