Robert Bosch Stiftung
The Robert Bosch Stiftung is one of the largest foundations in Germany and operates worldwide. We undertook the conceptual work for their digital magazine and tell stories about the foundation’s commitment in everything from promoting democracy to cancer research and climate change migration.
A new digital life
For many decades, the Robert Bosch Stiftung magazine was one of the most important print media in the German foundation landscape. So when we were asked to develop a content strategy for the digital age along with our design partner Edenspiekermann in 2021, it was a very special assignment for us. Together with the foundation’s experts, we designed single-theme dossiers on relevant topics such as “Climate Migration” or “Digital Immigration Society” and ensured that the content was told in the best possible way on each channel – through interactive videos, infographics and lengthy reports from all over the world. Our most important goal was to translate the depth of content and visual appeal of the print magazine into an eye-catching new medium that promoted understanding.

Complexity absolutely desirable
The Robert Bosch Stiftung works on questions that rarely have simple answers – and that’s precisely what makes this collaboration so inspiring. How does every cancer patient receive a customised therapy? What role do climate change and water shortages play in the peace negotiations in Lebanon? What has been achieved in Germany since the so-called refugee crisis in 2015 – and what not? Such topics demand a lot of our editorial team: intensive research, a deep understanding of scientific contexts and journalistic curiosity. After each project, we understand the world a little better – and do everything we can to ensure our readers feel the same way.
